David mentioned to me the other day that Air America had run a story on the treatment of NOLA evacuees at the Astrodome -- treating them essentially like prisoners. I couldn't find the story anywhere that day (having missed Air America) but this is along the same vein.
Makes me wonder what country this actually is.
If anything good comes out of this disaster, I hope it's a complete removal of conservatives from that region of the south -- not to mention the rest of the country -- in the next election. Perhaps this colossal mismanagement, not to mention the fucked-up manner in which the victims of a tragedy (human beings, for goodness sake!) have been treated, will wake people up to the fact that there are no real "compassionate conservatives" in the Federal government. Or that if there are any, they're being trampled by the assholes who just want power.
I hope Barbara Bush gets what's coming to her. Fucking twat. (Um, pardon my French.)

What I'm hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality. And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them.
Here's a Real Audio clip from the source.

Let's see, if we combine your posting and one of the comments, that makes her Marie Antoitwatnette. And, if you go to my favorite political cartoonist's site today you can see another reference to her Marie-ness.
